Become a Foster Parent
Have you ever wanted the chance to positively change the life of a child or young adult? As a Mentor, you have that chance.
There is perhaps no opportunity as rewarding as one that helps children or people in need. As a Mentor to a foster child, you become teacher and caregiver to a vulnerable person – one who needs you, your home and your heart.
Mentors are specially trained to care for a child or adult with special needs in their own home. As part of the individual’s support team, a Mentor plays a pivotal role in helping an individual achieve his or her goals and in providing that person with a warm, caring environment. Because each Mentor addresses the unique needs of the person with whom they live, the Mentor model is highly flexible and proven successful among people who are best served in individualized settings.
